PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts Wednesday through Saturday
• Weekend day required as part of schedule
• 40 hours per week guaranteed (facility may call off 6 times during 13-week assignment)
• Average daily census of 11 patients
• 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Current Arizona physical therapy license required (must have in hand)
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Business casual dress code
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must be confident with medical diagnoses and able to manage moderate to maximum assistance patients
• Ability to work with ventilated patients and perform co-treatments
• Must be able to pivot easily and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day
• Experience with acute care, orthopedics, neurology, and various therapeutic interventions
• May be asked to float to surrounding clinics
• No on-call requirements
• Charting system: Cerner
