Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Oberlin, KS

Decatur Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Physical Therapy Department in Oberlin, KS. You will provide therapy services in both outpatient and inpatient settings, working alongside one Registered Physical Therapist and one other Certified Physical Therapist Assistant.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver physical therapy assistant services to patients across a range of conditions
• Treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, stroke, back pain, sports injuries, and chronic conditions such as arthritis and Parkinson's disease
• Assist with pelvic floor care as needed
• Support patient rehabilitation and functional recovery within a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Active PTA license in the state of Kansas or reciprocal state
• Active BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application submittal
• Two professional references from within the past three years, with one from a previous supervisor

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days
• Duration: 89 days
• Start date: August 17, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,792
