ICU Registered Nurse Job in Roswell, NM

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in the ICU. You'll work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required.

About the Role

This position offers a mix of ICU and Step-Down care with some Medical-Surgical overflow. You'll manage patient ratios of 1:2 for ICU patients and 1:3–4 for Step-Down patients on a 16-bed unit. Floating to Step-Down and Medical-Surgical departments is required. Call coverage is part of the role, though it is rarely needed.

Scheduling & Time Off

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling may be requested and must include every other weekend
• Maximum 1 week of requested time off
• Holidays required, with at least one winter holiday mandatory
• 48-hour weekly guarantees may be requested

Requirements & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Work Environment

The unit uses Cerner as its electronic medical record system. Scrubs should be royal blue. You'll work alongside a collaborative team in a fast-paced ICU setting.
