Physical Therapist Inpatient Rehab Job in Crescent City, CA

You will work as a Physical Therapist in the inpatient rehabilitation setting at Sutter Health Coast Hospital. This is a full-time position on a 5x8 days schedule, offering $2,812.32 weekly for a 91-day assignment starting July 13, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
• Develop and update individualized patient Plans of Care based on evaluation findings and diagnosis
• Complete and document patient evaluations, tests, and treatment sessions per established standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate patient care effectively with other care providers and support team members
• Provide clinical supervision to physical therapy assistants and aides
• Serve as clinical instructor for assigned students
• Participate in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe working environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use
• Inspect and use equipment per manufacturer guidelines and report malfunctions per policy
• Perform general clerical tasks as needed, including answering phones, updating patient appointments, and managing electronic health records
• Maintain strictest confidentiality of all patient Protected Health Information

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy graduate program
• At least 2 years of experience
• California Physical Therapist License
• BLS Certification
