Operating Room RN Job in Portland, ME

MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 182-day travel assignment beginning June 14, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work in a dynamic OR environment supporting a wide range of surgical specialties. Your day shifts run from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts) or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts), with 36 guaranteed hours per week. You will care for patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations, and will not float to other units.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures including laryngoscopy, sinus surgery, facial plastics, trauma surgery, cochlear implants, oral surgery, complex head and neck cancer surgery, tonsillectomy, and tympanoplasty
• Support ENT, Dental, Plastics, Pediatrics, and Trauma Level 1 surgical services
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system
• Function effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment as a flexible, patient-oriented team player
• Manage occasional weekends and call requirements

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2+ years of operating room experience
• BLS certification required
• PALS and AORN certifications preferred
