Physical Therapist Job in Atlantis, FL

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel position in Atlantis, FL. You will provide inpatient rehabilitation services to patients across multiple clinical populations in an acute care hospital setting.

Position Details

• Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8 days)
• Assignment Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,336

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient physical therapy to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical populations
• Utilize treatment equipment including beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes
• Document patient care and progress in the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a Director, Lead PT, Physical and Occupational Therapists, and assistants
• Manage patient caseloads with ratios that vary based on clinical volume
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as needed based on surgical volume

Required Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility settings
• BLS certification
• DPT preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and time management skills
• Team-oriented approach to patient care

• Schedule includes one weekend per month with weekdays off to balance your time
• No on-call responsibilities
• Grey scrubs required
