<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement<br>• Team assignment model rather than individual patient assignments<br>• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving mostly geriatric population<br>• 2 years of nursing experience required<br>• ER experience preferred along with understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care, and geriatric patient care<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)<br>• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC<br>• Use EPIC electronic medical record system<br>• May be floated to ER based on experience (first to float)<br>• 3 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided<br>• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available<br>• Alternating holiday requirement<br>• No call or standby requirements<br>• Care for general rehab post-surgery patients and geriatric population<br>• Work with telemonitor capacity but no requirement to read strips<br>• Patient-managed CPAP equipment only, no ventilators or advanced respiratory equipment<br>• No drip titration required (pump infusion only)<br>• Charge nurse available on each shift<br>• Nurse aides/CNAs available on each shift<br>• Scrubs required with no specific color requirement<br>• BSN not required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving a rural community.
