RN - IR

Job Details:

• Work scheduled shifts of 2x10-hour and 2x8-hour shifts OR all 8-hour shifts; shift times are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Team scheduling posted 17 days prior for 6 weeks at a time
• Weeknight on-call requirements: 1-2 days per week
• Weekend on-call requirements: Every third weekend on call
• Holiday on-call requirements: Every other holiday
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Department operates 2 labs with an average of 5-10 cases per day
• Manage conscious sedation with autonomy, including charting, circulating, and pre/post care for IR procedures
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, and emergent patients including stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, lines, tubes, visceral, para, thora, biopsies, drain insertions, chest tubes, CT and US areas
• Floating requirements include radiology pre/post
• Must have moderate sedation experience with strong teamwork skills and willingness to help when needed
• EMR and equipment used: EPIC, Philips Xper (Hemo), and Siemens C-Arm
• Radiation badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start
• Scrubs/dress code provided by facility
• Orientation: One week of classroom and lab training
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Valid nursing license required for submission
