Interventional Radiology RN Job in Bismarck, ND

You will work as a registered nurse in the Interventional Radiology department at CHI St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Shift options: 2×10-hour days plus 2×8-hour shifts, or all 8-hour shifts
• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Team scheduling posted 17 days in advance for 6-week cycles
• Weekly pay: $1,224
• On-call requirements: 1–2 weeknights per week, every third weekend, and every other holiday with 30-minute response time

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage conscious sedation independently, including charting, circulating, and pre/post care for IR procedures
• Care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergent patients
• Procedures include stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, line and tube placement, visceral and para procedures, thoracentesis, biopsies, drain insertions, chest tubes, CT and ultrasound imaging
• Float to radiology pre/post areas as needed
• Department operates 2 labs with 5–10 cases per day on average

Required Qualifications and Equipment

• Valid nursing license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Strong teamwork and willingness to support colleagues
• Radiation badge must be in hand prior to start date
• EMR and equipment: EPIC, Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm

• One week of classroom and lab orientation
• Facility provides scrubs and dress code
• BSN not required
