NICU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You'll work as a registered nurse in a Level IV NICU at OU Health in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a 12-hour shift position available for 89 days, starting October 5, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,547.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of neonatal patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Monitor and report all changes in physician orders for your assigned patients
• Assist physicians with patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments
• Obtain and monitor physiological data; intervene when necessary to support patient stability
• Administer medications as prescribed by providers
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Deliver competent patient care across a range of health problems from simple to complex
• Interact with patients and families to communicate care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and expectations
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed to ensure safe, efficient care

Level IV NICU experience is required. You will work in a high-acuity environment providing specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature infants. Your clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team are essential to this role.
