CT Technologist Job in Marietta, GA

Kennestone Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift position. You will work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with flexibility to meet department needs and on-call requirements as necessary.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform a wide variety of CT imaging procedures with independent judgment and initiative
• Set up equipment and position patients appropriately for each procedure
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history prior to imaging
• Administer contrast media following established procedures and protocols
• Demonstrate proficiency with power injector operation and venipuncture
• Review CT images for clinical acceptability and manage patient release
• Send all studies to PACS immediately after completion and print CDs as needed
• Complete all studies in RIS before finalizing in PACS
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Assist other technologists across modalities when needed
• Transport and position patients, assisting them on and off the procedure table
• Restock linens and supplies and maintain the department in clean, orderly condition
• Maintain Joint Commission standards and all applicable regulatory requirements

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience; CT experience preferred
• ARRT Radiography certification
• ARRT Computed Tomography certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Competency in all aspects of CT including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Ability to perform effectively in a stressful, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with effective multitasking skills

This is a 91-day travel assignment with a weekly pay of $2,368. Start date is June 3, 2026.
