Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Highly skilled and experienced Surgical Tech required with a wide breadth of experience in Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, and related specialties
• Work 40 hours per week structured as either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts with negotiable start and end times
• Actual weekly hours and shifts will be confirmed during the phone interview
• Guaranteed weekly hours will be adjusted based on hours agreed upon during interview
• Approximately every 5th weekend designated as a call weekend, split between Call 1 and Call 2
• 1-2 call shifts per week required, split between Call 1 and Call 2
• Call volume may increase based on department need and staffing changes
• All call requires a 30-minute on-site response time from the time of the call
• Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the contract period, subject to variability based on census and staffing
• Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• BLS certification required
• CST preferred but not required
• Excellent critical thinking skills and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required
• Candidates with minimal requested time off will receive priority consideration
