X-Ray Technician Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 54-week travel assignment at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. You will work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, earning $1,987.64 per week.

About the Role

As an X-Ray Technician, you will operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment across multiple clinical settings, including the emergency department, inpatient units, and operating room. You will evaluate images for technical quality and work with advanced equipment from manufacturers including GE, Phillips, and CareStream. Your responsibilities include floating between departments as needed and maintaining proficiency with both EPIC and Sectra EMR systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment in emergency, inpatient, and OR settings
• Perform portable radiography when required
• Evaluate technical quality of images
• Document findings and observations in EMR systems
• Float to different departments based on facility needs
• Work with students and perform competency assessments
• Complete mask fit testing as required

Requirements

• Graduate from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiologic technology program
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications
• Minimum 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma facility OR 2–3 years at a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility
• Comfort working in emergency department, inpatient units, and with portable equipment
• Operating room experience required
• Willingness to work with pediatric and neonatal patients
