Job Details:

• Must hold active certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) issued by IAHCSMM or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech (CSPDT) issued by CBSPD
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with certification; 3 years of experience overall required
• Acute Hospital OR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• High-Level Disinfection (HLD) experience required
• Experience in fast-paced sterile processing environment required
• Weekend coverage required based on department needs
• One weekend shift per 4-week schedule with holiday rotation as needed based on department needs
• Performs decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment
• Supports main operating room with 24 ORs along with several ancillary units
• Handles all types of clinical cases within a Level 1 trauma center environment
• Experience with scope and probe reprocessing, robotics (Da Vinci systems), loaner trays, and sterile processing of instruments across specialties including ortho, neuro, cardiac, urology, and more
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA
