Special Procedures Technologist in Saint Louis, MO

Join Barnes-Jewish Hospital Allied as a Special Procedures Technologist in our interventional radiology department. You will support a high-volume service line performing 6–8 procedures daily across 9 procedure rooms.

Schedule & Duration

• 4×10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• One Saturday shift (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) during the 13-week assignment
• Weekend call coverage 1–2 times per assignment (Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)
• Backup assignments approximately once per week
• Guaranteed minimum 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed

Your Role

You will assist with a range of vascular and interventional procedures, including central venous catheter placements and replacements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mappings and treatments, gastrostomy and percutaneous nephrostomy tube placements, peripheral artery disease interventions, and other vascular procedures. You will work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and float within the service line as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience (2 years preferred)
• ARRT R and BLS certifications required
• C-Arm and contrast experience required
• ARRT VI certification preferred
• Siemens and GE ultrasound equipment experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Scrub colors: black, red, or white

Compensation

Weekly pay: $3,352.32
