Pharmacy Technician Job in Waukesha, WI

Prohealth Care Memorial Hospital - Pewaukee is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract position. You will work 40 guaranteed hours per week on a day shift schedule (5x8), with shifts running 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Weekend rotation occurs every other weekend and every other holiday, with no on-call or callback requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work primarily within the central pharmacy, preparing and dispensing medications
• Perform cart delivery rounds throughout the facility as needed
• Manage automated dispensing systems, including Omnicell
• Prepare IV medications according to protocol
• Document all pharmacy activities in Epic charting system

Location and Flexibility

Your primary work location is Prohealth Care Memorial Hospital in Pewaukee, with the ability to float to Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Mukwonago as operational needs require.

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin State License
• PTCB certification required (if not certified at hire, you must obtain certification within 30 days of your start date)
• Associate degree or certificate in pharmacy technology
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Oncology experience required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Experience with automated dispensing systems (Omnicell preferred)
• IV preparation experience

Compensation and Schedule

Weekly pay is $1,440. The contract runs 91 days, with a start date of September 14, 2026.
