PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday
• Weekend requirement - must work either every Saturday or every Sunday
• Holiday coverage required with permanent staff rotation, typically one major and one minor holiday
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings based on facility needs
• Inpatient areas include general inpatient, rehabilitation, OR sub-acute units
• Outpatient locations include free-standing clinic in Hueme (20 minutes away) and clinic near main hospital
• Treat diverse patient populations including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and lymphedema patients
• Common diagnoses include spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, orthopedic conditions, and various medical/surgical cases
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation provided
• Uniform provided: polo shirts with khakis or black pants
• Electronic medical record system: Cerner
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
