PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Provide direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis in PACU or Pre-Op setting (either role available)
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care each shift
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
• Support ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Maintain competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Shifts vary between 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
• OR call rotation includes one first call (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and one second call (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) per month during the week, plus one weekend day every other month
• Dedicated scrubs provided for travelers matching staff color
• Contract duration is 10 to 12 weeks
• Must reside a minimum of 250 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
