Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Cardiac Cath Lab</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• 13-week contract assignment<br>• 8-hour day shifts with standard hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM<br>• Flexibility required for alternate schedules (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM) based on operational needs<br>• Call requirements with evenly distributed schedule among RN and CVT staff<br>• Weekend on-call for emergent cases<br>• Work in 3 operating cath lab rooms (2 are EP compatible)<br>• Team consists of 2 RNs and 2 CV techs per case unless anesthesia or non-invasive procedures<br>• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS<br>• Cath Lab experience required<br>• EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred<br>• RCIS or Cardiovascular Nurse certification preferred<br>• Perform typical procedures including cath, PCI, EP (a-fib), Watchmen, TAVR, INARI, and various devices (PPM, ICD, etc.), impella<br>• Work with Meditech EMR system<br>• Dress code requires royal blue or black scrubs<br>• Must be team-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center is a leading cardiovascular facility featuring state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization services with 3 operating cath lab rooms. The facility is recognized for having 2 facility STS ratings and maintains the highest structural volume in the region with 50 TAVRs performed.
