Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Ortho Trauma/Med Surg unit located on the 4th floor
• 32-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 nurses (RN/LVN mix), and 2-3 PCTs
• Utilize Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs machines
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Perform patient ambulation and wound care as needed
• May float to sister departments including Surgical Telemetry Unit or Inpatient Rehab
• No on-call requirement
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• BLS certification required
• Charge experience and preceptor experience preferred
• Positive attitude and team player mentality strongly preferred
