ICU RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 6-month travel assignment in the Intensive Care Unit. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment, working a flexible pool schedule with 3x12 shifts on nights.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and care for critically ill patients requiring intensive medical supervision
• Work with advanced life support equipment and monitoring systems
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Work an every-other-weekend schedule with holiday coverage that includes July 4th and rotating holiday assignments
