PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work across two locations: main campus in Spruce Pine and Burnsville Outpatient Clinic
• Patient ratio of 9 to 11 patients per day per FTE
• Outpatient and acute care experience required
• Orthopedic, sports medicine, spine, and manual therapy experience preferred
• Vestibular, vertigo, and stroke experience preferred
• Perform therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, vestibular rehab, balance training, and gait training
• Utilize PT modalities, pool, cardiovascular equipment, Biodex balance system, and fitness center
• Use Cerner EMR for acute care and Nethealth Xfits (formerly ReDoc) for outpatient
• Acute care dress code requires purple (eggplant) scrubs; outpatient requires business attire or polo with khakis
• Weekend rotation every 5th weekend with Saturday priority patients only averaging 2 to 3 hours; no Sunday visits
• No on-call responsibilities outside of weekend rotation
• Must hold active Physical Therapist license in the state of North Carolina
• Team-oriented and outgoing personality a strong fit for this role
