MRI Technologist Job in Arlington, VA

You'll work as an MRI Technologist at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA, supporting the radiology department on overnight shifts. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning May 18, 2026.

Schedule & Location

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (5x8 nights)
• Must be within 30 miles or 30 minutes of campus for potential on-call responsibilities

Your Role

You'll operate advanced MRI equipment including Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T systems. Floating may be required in rotation with facility staff. You'll complete up to 7 hours of non-billable orientation modules and attend EPIC training for radiology (either accelerated or 2-day class).

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of MRI experience
• Valid Virginia license (may submit with pending application if you provide proof and follow temporary licensing process)
• Grey scrubs required

Health & Compliance

• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st through March 31st)

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,880

If you previously worked at Virginia Hospital Center as facility staff, you must wait one year after your employment end date before returning as a traveler.
