Job Details:

• 4x10 shift schedule working Sunday through Thursday with Fridays and Saturdays off
• Sunday shift hours: 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Monday through Thursday shift hours: 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM (variable 3 days, schedule may vary based on department need)
• Competently perform routine and specialized MRI procedures to produce quality diagnostic images
• Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic MRI equipment
• Prepare for and assist physicians during diagnostic MRI and guidance imaging in invasive procedures
• Explain procedures, medications, and contrast media to patients in a clear and professional manner
• Perform general clerical tasks including answering phones, updating patient appointments, and maintaining electronic health records (EHR), radiology information systems (RIS), and laboratory information systems (LIS)
• Prepare and complete accurate documentation related to patients, procedures, and exam charges
• Implement protection devices and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure following ALARA principles
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and disinfect equipment after each procedure
• Inspect and calibrate equipment for proper operation and record quality control (QC) results
• Mentor students and new technologists to build confidence in their skills and knowledge
• Inventory and order accessories and supplies to maintain established stock levels
• 5 years of recent relevant experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and one of the following - CRT, ARMRIT (MRI), or ARRT (MRI)
