ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Acute care setting
• 20-bed ICU unit with a 2:1 patient ratio, with 1:1 ratio common for higher acuity patients
• Care for high-acuity patients including neuro patients with brain drains, ortho trauma patients requiring traction, and post-op open-heart CABG patients
• Experience with cardiovascular devices such as balloon pumps, impellas, and EKOS required
• Manage CRRT at bedside for renal patients
• Handle open abdomens from the OR that may be re-opened at bedside
• Experience in ICUs or STICUs in level 1-2 trauma centers preferred
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• Must reside outside of a 75-mile radius restriction
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
