Cath Lab Technologist Job in San Antonio, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract position at Methodist Hospital Texsan in San Antonio, TX. This role offers competitive weekly pay of $2,612 and begins September 14, 2026.

Schedule and Location

You will work day shift hours primarily 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position includes on-call responsibilities Monday through Friday (approximately 1–2 nights per week from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM) and one weekend per month (24 hours Saturday and Sunday). You must be within 30 minutes of the facility to meet call requirements.

Role Responsibilities

You will work within a 4-lab unit consisting of 2 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs. Cath Lab teams consist of 3–4 person teams, and EP Lab teams consist of 3 person teams. You will float between Cath Lab and EP Lab as needed and perform the following procedures:

• Right and left heart catheterizations
• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), including complex PCI
• Diagnostic and interventional peripheral procedures
• EKOS, PFO occluders, and nitric oxide studies
• Pacemaker and ICD implants
• EP ablations, Watchman implants, and interventional radiology

You will operate Siemens X-Ray equipment, document using Meditech EMR, and record procedures with the GE Mac Lab recording system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Complex PCI experience, including Impella and IABP placement and management
• GE Mac Lab EMR recording experience
• Current certification: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT

Preferred Qualifications

• EP Lab experience, including EP device placement, EP ablations, and EP studies
• Peripheral vascular intervention experience
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to take extra call
