RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Travel Swing Bed RN position for a 13-week assignment
• Night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekends required
• On-call required - may be placed on call if volume supports, but no more than 48 hours of call-off time already included in the standard contract
• Floating required - primarily to med/surg for patient assignments; may be floated to other units for tasking within existing competencies only
• Provide nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehab (Swing) patients
• May absorb med/surg patients if swing bed volume drops
• Swing bed patients require less nurse-intensive care than traditional med/surg patients but no difference in skill requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:10 for swing patients
• Unit consists of 10 beds
• 48-hour weekly guarantees may be accommodated
• Blocked scheduling requests may be accommodated
• No week on/week off scheduling
• Scrub color: Any solid color
• EMR system: MedHost
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Rehab and/or Med Surg experience required
• BLS certification required
