11603 - URGENT - Travel: Physical Therapist OP

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with early Friday closure<br>• Extra hour from Friday early closure can be made up Monday through Thursday<br>• Full-time outpatient position<br>• Patient ratio of 1:1 with one patient every 45 minutes<br>• Treat patients who are mainly orthopedic and some neurological cases<br>• Assess, plan, evaluate and implement care for assigned physical therapy patients<br>• Gather pertinent data from charts and other caregivers, discuss with physician as necessary<br>• Independently assess all patient types as assigned<br>• Interpret results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic and attainable goals<br>• Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy<br>• Identify appropriate equipment and discuss with patients and families<br>• Doctorate degree preferred, Bachelor&#39;s degree required<br>• LPT License in state of Texas (or compact) required<br>• BLS certification required (AHA only)<br>• Adhere to all standards of Physical Therapy Practice Act</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing specialized outpatient rehabilitation services.
