About this role
You will work as a Special Procedures Technologist in the Radiology and Cardiology department at The University of Toledo Medical Center, supporting interventional radiology and catheterization lab procedures.
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call responsibility every fourth weekend, one day per week
- Holiday rotation includes call coverage
- 13-week assignment beginning June 29, 2026
- Weekly pay: $3,168
Your Role
You will assist with interventional radiology and catheterization lab procedures, including fluoroscopy operations. Your responsibilities include scrubbing for procedures, positioning patients, preparing equipment, and monitoring radiation safety protocols. You must maintain visual acuity of 20/20 (corrected), color vision, and the ability to hear and communicate clearly. You will perform CPR as needed and manage physical demands including standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and occasionally lifting or transferring up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Allied Health Professional credential
- ARRT registration
- Current Ohio state license
- Current CPR certification
- Formal radiological technology training from an AMA-approved school
- Cath lab and in-procedural experience
- Scrub experience for Cath Lab and IR procedures
- Experience with radiation and radiology training
- Ability to assume on-call responsibilities
