ICU RN Job in Denver, CO

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients
• Work in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
• Unit staffed with 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT per shift
• Utilize equipment including cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Perform and assist with procedures including intubations and central line placement
• Work with medical ICU and neuro patient populations
• 24/7 physician coverage available including intensivist, neuro-intensivist, and trauma surgeon
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience with medical ICU and neuro population preferred
• Must be a collaborative team player
