Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work 8 or 10-hour day shifts in the Operating Room
• Night shift option available from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Must take call - Monday through Friday call begins at end of shift and runs to 7:00 AM the following morning
• Weekend call is 24 hours, typically one day of call per week and one weekend call per month
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Must have cardiovascular experience - candidates without this will not be considered
• Must be able to perform vascular and robotic cases
• Preferred experience includes endovascular cases, moderate sedation, and ability to perform ortho, ENT, GYN, and general cases
• Typical procedures include CABG with or without valves, pericardial window, AAA and endovascular AA, ECMO, convergent maze, Impella balloon pump, fistula, all bypass procedures, carotid or femoral endarterectomy, VATs (robotic, laparoscopic, or open), robotic esophagectomy, BKA or AKA, temporal artery bypass, thrombectomy/embolectomy, and insertion or removal of peritoneal dialysis catheter
• Will work in the Surgery Department only - case load may vary and can include general, ortho, ENT, GYN, podiatry, urology, plastic, pain, or eye cases
• Equipment includes Hana bed x2, Axis Bed, Trios Bed, levo positioner, Rosa, Mazor, DaVinci robots x3, Stryker towers, Storz towers, ENT microscope, cobolators, NIMS, spine/neuro microscope, ORA machine, eye microscope, tourniquets, hybrid room, medistem, vasoview, cell saver, perfusion pump, and ECMO machine
• EMR system: Expanse
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• CNOR certification preferred but not required
