Telemetry RN Job in Greensboro, NC

You'll work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in our Telemetry unit at Cone Health - The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. This 91-day travel assignment begins May 11, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,021.76.

Your Role

As a Telemetry RN, you'll care for stable trauma patients and manage a diverse surgical population. Your responsibilities include:

• Pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients
• Monitoring high-volume patients undergoing exploratory laps, hemi-colectomies, mastectomies, lap cholecystectomies, eye surgeries, trauma cases, and plastic surgeries
• Managing lower-volume populations including GYN procedures, palliative care, 24-hour observation, and medical overflow patients
• Blood product administration and peripheral line care
• Collaboration with rapid response teams and interdisciplinary support services

Requirements

• RN degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience (first-time travelers accepted with surgery or trauma experience preferred)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)

Schedule Details

You'll maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6 across all shifts. Every other weekend coverage is required, with holiday rotation as needed. No call responsibilities. You may be floated between Cone Health campuses as needed and must remain flexible with scheduling.

You'll receive 24-hour orientation to support your transition. The facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. This is a stable, structured environment where you'll develop strong skills in surgical and trauma nursing while maintaining work-life balance on night shifts.
