Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend schedule with holidays as needed
• Float required between all Cone Health facilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio experience of 1:5-6 required
• Required certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Telemetry remote monitoring experience required, on-unit monitoring preferred
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Skills required: Accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, feeding tube care and management, CVA care, nasal cannula, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with multiple co-morbidities
• Specialized care for stroke (neuro) patient population
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• 50-mile local radius restriction applies
