Echo Technologist Job in La Crosse, WI

You will work as an Echo Technologist at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin, performing echocardiograms for adult inpatient and outpatient populations. This is a 13-week travel contract with a start date of July 6, 2026.

Position Details

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, ending by 5:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call, callback, weekend, or holiday rotation requirements
• Perform approximately 7 scans per day with 60-minute allotted encounters
• Work with both inpatient and outpatient adult populations
• Opportunity to float to the Onalaska clinic as desired
• Equipment: Siemens SC2000 machines (training provided)

Requirements

• Current RDCS certification and AHA BLS certification
• ADN or BSN degree
• 2 or more years of cardiac sonography experience
• Completion of a Cardiac Sonography Program
• Competency in IV procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric echo experience
• Previous travel healthcare experience
• EPIC charting experience

You will earn $2,880 per week as an Allied Health Professional. No scrub color requirement applies. Training on equipment is provided, and you will work in a supportive clinical environment with clearly defined patient volumes and predictable scheduling.
