Telemetry RN Job in Akron, OH

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 34-bed cardiac PCU/Telemetry stroke overflow unit at Barberton Campus in Akron, Ohio. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning July 19, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts and weekly pay of $2,264.40.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients in a fast-paced cardiac and stroke overflow setting
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
• Start and maintain intravenous lines
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips
• Perform phlebotomy as needed
• Float to other units as required

Required Qualifications

• RN degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH certification
• Minimum 2+ years recent PCU/Telemetry RN experience
• Phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months
• Epic electronic health record experience demonstrated on resume within the last 12 months

Assignment Requirements

• Solid black scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days remote time off (RTO) allowed during assignment
• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment
• No block scheduling requests accepted
• Interview required

You must be able to hit the ground running in a high-acuity environment and demonstrate competency with cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and patient assessment. This position is ideal for an experienced telemetry nurse seeking a structured short-term assignment in Ohio.
