SEARHC Physical Therapy and Optometry Clinic in Craig, Alaska is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their outpatient rehabilitation team. This is a 91-day travel position running 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with a weekly pay of $3,901 and a start date of October 5, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations and treatments for patients of all ages and diagnoses
  • Perform assessments, identify therapy diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Implement, supervise, and adjust therapy plans based on patient response to optimize clinical outcomes
  • Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations across various settings as assigned
  • Oversee and direct the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and other designated staff
  • Review clinical records and case histories to inform treatment decisions
  • Attend care conferences, meetings, and rounds while maintaining communication with referring providers
  • Collaborate with team members to arrange medical equipment and establish discharge care plans
  • Document patient encounters, diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognoses
  • Develop and conduct patient education and therapy programs based on individual and family needs
  • Provide patients and families with clear home exercise programs to maximize rehabilitative potential
  • Assist in acquiring and fitting durable medical equipment based on patient needs
  • Maintain supply and clinical equipment inventory at acceptable levels
  • Educate staff on PT-related issues and help patients and families understand functional limitations

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient rehabilitation
  • Active Alaska physical therapy license at time of submission
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility address
