Med Surg RN Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Med Surg contract assignment. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a 3x12 schedule with guaranteed 48 hours per week.

Assignment Details:

• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable time, taken in hour increments as needed
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights

Patient Population:

You will care for adult patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Wisconsin RN License
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $2,377.08. Assignment begins September 14, 2026.
