OR RN Job in Austell, GA

Join Cobb Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, where you'll support surgical teams and deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Work 4 days per week, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Take on-call shifts as assigned—24 to 40 hours per 4-week scheduling period (self-assigned in randomized order)
• Perform the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity
• Coordinate safe, quality patient care delivery and documentation
• Complete initial and ongoing competency assessments
• Attend mandatory and population-specific education
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor to nursing staff and other team members
• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement initiatives
• Function as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
• BLS certification
• Associates Nursing Degree or Diploma (Bachelor's preferred)
• Less than 1 year experience required; direct patient care experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
• Excellent time management abilities
• Ability to respond effectively in emergencies

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay: $1,864.80. Assignment length: 91 days. Start date: June 1, 2026.
