Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Clean, inspect, assemble, package, disinfect, and sterilize all surgical products used to support physicians and surgical teams
• Support inpatient, outpatient departments, Operating Room, Emergency Room, Delivery Room and satellites
• Document and monitor all sterilization processes including steam, ETOH, Sterrad and high level disinfectants
• Ensure all monitoring methods are compliant with established standards
• Supply various departments by properly meeting and anticipating instrumentation needs for pending cases
• Assemble procedure-specific case carts based on surgeon preference cards
• Receive, unpack, and shelve supplies while maintaining appropriate par levels
• Work proactively with surgical specialty teams to ensure supplies are available when needed
• Coordinate preparation of case carts with required supplies, equipment, instruments and implants
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Central Service Certification required
• BLS certification preferred
• Medical terminology course completion preferred
• Strong interpersonal and computer skills required
• Demonstrated customer service skills required
