CVOR RN Job in Harrisburg, PA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Central — UPMC Harrisburg. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 24, 2026, with a 4x10 day shift schedule. You'll earn $3,101 per week.

What you'll do:

• Provide direct patient care and manage activities for assigned patients and their families
• Apply independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members to deliver quality care
• Formulate daily goals and individualized plans of care in partnership with patients
• Demonstrate critical thinking in identifying clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual patient needs
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Educate patients and families to guide them through their episode of care and transitions
• Maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers to achieve desired patient outcomes

What you need:

• Current RN license; BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Scrubbing experience as RN preferred but not required
• BLS certification
• Pennsylvania Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 compliance
• Availability for minimum 7 days of call per month
• Flexibility with shift preferences (5–8 hour or 4–10 hour shifts)
