Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Flint, MI

McLaren Flint is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work days on a 5x8 schedule and earn $2,448 weekly.

Your Role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging studies using radioactive isotopes and specialized nuclear medicine equipment. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform all aspects of nuclear medicine patient exams at a technical level to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns
• Measure, prepare, and administer radioactive isotopes and medications within your scope of practice
• Operate and maintain all assigned nuclear scanning imaging equipment
• Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment
• Complete quality assurance processes and practice strict radiation safety protocols
• Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats
• Maintain adequate supply of consumables for quality testing
• Assist other areas of radiology as assigned

Requirements

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine
• Current registration in Nuclear Medicine with ARRT or NMTCB
• BLS certification
• ARRT certification

Schedule and On-Call

Your primary schedule is days (5x8). You will be on-call every other week Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day assignment beginning August 31, 2026, at McLaren Flint. General supervision is typically required. You will work under the facility's established protocols and quality standards.
