<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• 12-hour night shifts<br>• Float throughout hospital to all units<br>• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule<br>• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum call back<br>• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius<br>• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, ARRT or NBRC license, Michigan respiratory license<br>• NRP preferred<br>• Minimum 1+ year of experience required<br>• Associate Degree or Certificate required (Bachelor&#39;s Degree preferred)<br>• Work with HAMILTON GV VENT, LTV VENT, C1 VENT, EPIC EMR, MGC PFT BODY BOX, GE SEER HOLTERS, GE MAC5500 EKGS, PHILLIPS V60 BiPAP, PYXIS DOSE MANAGEMENT<br>• Perform home sleep testing, Holter monitoring, EKG, event monitors, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary function testing, patient education, OB deliveries, and trauma/ED support<br>• Provide basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, and patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups<br>• Work independently covering the entire facility<br>• Experience required: arterial blood gas draws, non-invasive and invasive ventilator management, assess and treat protocol experience<br>• Scrubs dress code required<br>• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility provides comprehensive respiratory care services across multiple units throughout the hospital.
