Telemetry RN Job in Silverdale, WA

St Michael Medical Center is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position in Silverdale, WA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,291.85.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights (12-hour night shifts)
• 18-bed Telemetry unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Unit orientation: 2–3 shifts
• Nurse aides available at 1:9 ratio; Charge RN and House Supervisor support on site

Clinical Responsibilities

• Titrate drips including Comfort Care medications (Narcotics and Benzodiazepines), Heparin, and Cardizem (up to 10 mg/hr)
• Read cardiac monitor strips; Telemetry/Monitor Techs available on unit
• Manage equipment including CPAP and BiPAP (no high flow)
• Common diagnoses: Medical Oncology, Medical Surgical overflow, CHF, Diabetes, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, and COPD
• Floating to like departments may be required

Requirements

• Washington state or Compact nursing license
• At least 1 year of clinical experience
• EPIC experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Bio/Chemotherapy Certification preferred but not required
• BSN not required

Schedule & Expectations

• Weekend requirement based on unit needs and demands
• Holiday requirement to be discussed with manager during phone interview
• Standby requirement with 1-hour response time
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

Professional dress code and scrub color required. Acute care hospital setting. Charting system: EPIC.
