Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour variable shifts: either 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Float to all patient care areas including ED, OB (attended live births), and general care areas
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• C-section assistance with NRP protocols
• Basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups
• Associate degree or certificate required
• 2 years experience required with NICU experience mandatory
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Advanced NRP, NBRC RRT
• Active Wisconsin license required (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
• Dress code: closed-toed shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or scents allowed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census situations
