<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>MRI Tech - MRI Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Monday through Friday schedule with 7:30 AM start time<br>• Rotational call requirement - one week on-call rotation every month<br>• On-call hours are 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday, plus 24 hours Saturday and Sunday<br>• Weekend and holiday requirements on rotational on-call basis<br>• Single modality position focused on MRI only, not expected to cover CT or X-Ray duties<br>• Perform MSK, Neuro, and Body scans for both inpatients and outpatients in clinic and hospital settings<br>• Responsibilities include IV starting and creatinine draws<br>• Average of 10 scans/studies per day<br>• May float between College Station and Bryan campus locations (16 minutes apart) as needed<br>• First to float between campuses when coverage is needed<br>• May be asked to precept new staff as needed by the unit<br>• Must have experience with Philips and Siemens equipment (HIGHLY PREFERRED and required)<br>• Experience with 1.5T equipment required<br>• Use Meditech and Synapse EMR/PACS systems<br>• Use MEDHOST charting system<br>• Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination<br>• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT, and Medical Radiologic Technologist licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates multiple locations with advanced imaging services, featuring state-of-the-art MRI equipment including both Philips and Siemens scanners. The facility serves both inpatient and outpatient populations in acute care settings, with radiologists available in-house for hospital locations. The imaging department maintains 1-2 scanners per location and focuses on providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services including musculoskeletal, neurological, and body imaging studies.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>College Station, TX</p><p>College Station offers a vibrant college town atmosphere as home to Texas A&M University, providing a dynamic community with excellent educational and cultural opportunities.
