Wound Care RN Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week wound care assignment. You will work four 9-hour days per week (7:30 AM to 5:00 PM) with 36 guaranteed hours weekly. There are no weekend or holiday rotation requirements.

You will float between Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital and Howard Young Wound Clinic in Woodruff, WI, providing outpatient wound care services. Your daily responsibilities include:

• See 8–9 patient visits per day in the outpatient procedural setting
• Perform topical wound care, compression wraps, wound VACs, total contact casting, and conservative sharp wound debridement
• Change ostomy pouching systems and treat peristomal skin breakdown
• Carry out care plans developed by the NP for active patients
• Assist with inpatient and ED wound consultations
• Work with CNA support at a 1:8–9 patient visit ratio

You will be subject to low census and on-call requirements with a 2-hour call back minimum. Position is contingent on living outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Requirements:

• Wisconsin or compact state RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• Two years of wound care experience or wound care certification
• EPIC charting experience
• Associate degree or certificate in nursing

Preferred:

• Wound and ostomy certification or extensive wound/ostomy clinic experience

Dress Code: Any scrubs, closed-toed shoes, no artificial nails or nail polish.

Compensation: $2,698 per week. Start Date: June 15, 2026.
