Cath Lab Technologist Job in Waterloo, IA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, a 90-day travel assignment beginning August 30, 2026. This role focuses on catheterization lab and interventional radiology procedures, where you will operate specialized imaging equipment and support physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cases.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating advanced imaging equipment during cardiac and vascular catheterization procedures
• Supporting physicians and clinical teams during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Maintaining strict adherence to sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
• Assisting with patient positioning and equipment setup
• Documenting procedures and maintaining accurate records

Schedule and compensation:

You will work a 5x8 days schedule at $3,031.60 per week. The position includes on-call responsibilities: 2 days per week from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM for two weeks, and full weekend call every third weekend from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday.
