Speech Language Pathologist Job in Detroit, MI

You will work as a Speech Language Pathologist at Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in Detroit, MI. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning December 31, 2025.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 days, 07:00–19:30
• Weekly pay: $1,805.76
• Setting: Rehabilitation facility

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments for patients
• Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services across assigned caseload
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and nursing staff
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
• Communicate findings and recommendations to patients and their families

What You Bring

• Current Speech Language Pathology degree and credentials as specified for assignment
• License to practice as an SLP in Michigan
• Experience providing speech-language pathology services in a rehabilitation setting
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team
