ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Float to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding) as needed
• Scrub color: Navy
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 4-5 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Heart experience highly preferred and prioritized by manager
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Required certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Active NY RN license required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• 42-bed ICU unit (East 20, West 22) with Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma sections
• Common patient diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CV surgery, AAA, trauma, and major post-operative cases
• Specialty equipment used on unit includes IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
