RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• 10-hour varied shifts with call responsibilities
• Overnight call required once a week
• Must cover 3 weekend days per month (1st and 2nd weekends)
• 1 weekend call per month required
• Rotate holidays in with core staff
• 1-2 days of floor-specific orientation in OR with preceptor
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must be able to scrub; candidates without scrub experience will also be considered
• Perform 4-6 heart surgeries per day including CABG, valves, and all heart surgeries (no thoracic)
• Must have strong CVOR experience and be confident in skill set
• Very busy, fast-paced OR environment
• Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
• Ventilator experience not required but beneficial
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs are provided
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
