Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Swedish CO as a Med Surg RN on the 5East-Women's Surgical Unit, an 18-bed acute care floor. You will work three 12-hour night shifts each week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a patient ratio of 6:1. This 91-day travel assignment begins July 20, 2026, and offers $1,708.20 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform post-operative assessments and provide comprehensive post-op care
• Manage post-prostatectomy and post-hysterectomy patients
• Handle continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) and Foley catheter care
• Administer pain management including patient-controlled analgesia (PCAs) and epidurals
• Work collaboratively with a night shift team of one charge nurse, five nurses, and one to two techs
• Operate acute care medical and surgical equipment

Requirements: Current RN license, minimum one year of acute care hospital Med Surg experience, and BLS certification. Prior Meditech EMR experience is preferred.

Preferred experience: GYN/Oncology, Urology, Med Surg, and post-op nursing backgrounds are valued. You should be team-oriented, compassionate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is essential.
